About Miss Gardner

I am thrilled to begin my first year at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, where I look forward to sharing my love for reading with our students. Pursuing my dream of becoming a school library media specialist has been a lifelong goal, deeply inspired by my grandmother. She was not only a dedicated middle school librarian in upstate New York but also an active member of her church. Her passion for books and education left a lasting impression on me, and I know she is watching over me from heaven with pride. I am honored to continue her legacy by fostering a love of reading with the students.

• Masters of Library and Information Sciences (Southern Connecticut State University, graduation May 2025)

• Graduate Certificate to be a School Library Media Specialist (Southern Connecticut State University, graduation May 2025)

• B.A. Elementary Education (University of Rhode Island)

• Rhode Island Teacher certificate grades 1-6

• CPR/First Aid/AED certified for Adult and Pediatrics

• 4th grade long term substitute for the 2023-2024 school year at Rogers International Baccalaureate School in Stamford

• First Grade teacher at Blackstone Valley Prep in Cumberland, Rhode Island, 1 year

• Stamford Yacht Club Day Camp Director, 2 years
