About Mrs. Shay

  • I joined Saint Thomas Aquinas School because Religion is part of its core curriculum. In this day and age when we are bombarded with so much information on a global scale, I felt I could bring the love and peace of our Lord to our children. Saint Thomas is a competitive school where the students are motivated to achieve. The daily Religion classes provide the opportunity to care for the part of us - our spirit - that needs the same infusion of attention and growth. We are fortunate to educate the whole person in mind, body and spirit. The teachers work together to bring their special talents, passion and strengths to enhance the education of the whole student. I am blessed to share my faith, knowledge and experience to meet the spiritual needs of the students. The goal is an exceptional school community where each child is treasured as a “Child of God.”
