Testimonials

The strong community builds confidence, character and social skills alongside an excellent learning experience - the entire community from the administration and faculty to your peers know you so well, want to lift you up and support you. It is remarkable what it can do for a person when you have that foundational experience as a kid.

I’ve been at St. Thomas since kindergarten, and it’s like a second home to me. The teachers really care about you - not just your grades, but who you are as a person. I have made amazing friends here, and there’s always someone cheering you on, whether it’s in class, sports or the school musical. Now that I’m in an older grade, I can help the younger kids too, just like the older students helped me when I was little.

At St. Thomas everyone relies on each other to help raise their kids. The school teaches the entire family by modeling a community-based approach. Parents, grandparents and siblings are always lending a hand. St. Thomas meets everyone where they are and brings out the best in all of us. St. Thomas is not a drop-off school - it is a drop-in school where the entire family is welcome. If you are looking for a nurturing environment where everyone knows and celebrates the whole family, look no further!

In 1985, we made one of the best decisions for our family: enrolling our oldest child at St. Thomas. His sisters soon followed, and in 1987, I joined the faculty. I could never have imagined that I would still be part of this vibrant community of faith, education and service forty enriching years later. One beautiful part of my connection is hearing the words, “You taught my mom/dad!” St. Thomas is alive and well and still providing what it promised in 1985. It is a joy to continue to be a part of the educational journey of our young families.

I love everything about going to school at St. Thomas! I started here in Pre-K3, and I feel so lucky that I’ve gotten to grow here with my older sister and so many of my best friends. I love coming to school every day and getting to learn with the nicest teachers and classmates. One of the greatest things about St. Thomas are all of the traditions we have as a school community; I’m especially excited to get to be a part of the school musical this year now that I’m in 4th grade!

St. Thomas has had a major impact on our entire family. Our four children were well prepared both academically and spiritually for the challenges of higher education as well as life. We're blessed to have three grandchildren continuing the tradition today!
