About Ms. Desiderio

  • Children are our future, and I have always felt a calling to help shape the next generation. I was fortunate to have several teachers who inspired me to follow a teaching career. That is what helped me to decide to become a teacher. I love to see each of my students succeed in their academic career, so I am so grateful to God for guiding me toward this vocation. Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about collaborating with nonprofit organizations such as the Young Adult Columbus Citizen Foundation, which sponsors student scholarships, and Working in Support of Education, which supports financial literacy and economic mobility for students and families. I am also an active member at Saint Aloysius Parish, participating in their Young Adults group. I am blessed to now be part of the Saint Thomas Aquinas family, and I look forward to the journey ahead.
