    Welcome to Seventh Grade Language Arts ! 


    This year we will examine literature with a critical eye that considers multiple perspectives and interpretations. Additionally, we will explore grammar, vocabulary, and word usage so that all students can become proficient readers and writers.

    We will study literature, poetry, short stories, and personal writing/reflection to begin to think about how our own faith must be connected to all we do and the way we treat others in our daily lives.

    Parents, I ask for your assistance at home as your children tackle homework assignments, projects, and essays, and explore the important issues introduced by the various readings.
