From the classroom to the community we connect and grow through song. Weekly music class is a core part of the curriculum for all grades at St. Thomas, where students learn the foundations of music theory and are exposed to a variety of styles and musical elements. For our middle school students, improvisation is layered into the music curriculum to further hone public speaking skills.
Extracurricular opportunities like voice and instrument lessons are offered through Beyond the Bell in partnership with Fairfield Performing Arts Studio and other service providers.
Every year before breaking for the Christmas holiday, parents, alumni, students and faculty come together in song to celebrate the season. The result of many weeks of preparation and dedication by our students, our beloved Christmas Concert is a beautiful, time-honored tradition enjoyed by the entire community.
