Scholarships & Financial Assistance

The Bishop’s Scholarship Fund (BSF) is open to all families who have a child or children registered, or are new applicants, in a Diocesan Catholic elementary and / or middle school in Fairfield County. If you believe that your family may need financial assistance to manage the cost of a St. Thomas education, we encourage you to apply through FACTS online. Applications are evaluated and determinations are made by the BSF Committee. Awardees’ families are notified through FACTS and scholarship distributions are made directly to St. Thomas on behalf of the successful scholarship applicant.

BSF applications open on February 1st and are due March 15th for returning school families and April 15th for new school families.

St. Thomas also offers tuition assistance to eligible families. These awards are supported through grants, fundraising, area foundations and generous benefactors. Please reach out to the Head of School if you are feeling pressure and wish to explore assistance options.

Please note that some area foundation grants operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, so contact the Head of School early in the new calendar year in advance of the upcoming school year. St. Thomas’ tuition assistance program is managed directly by the Head of School.
