St. Thomas Aquinas School is first and foremost a Catholic school.  Our school community joins in prayer at the beginning of each school day and throughout the day our students learn the truths of our faith and have opportunities to practice the faith in their daily lives.

All students at St. Thomas Aquinas participate in daily Religion classes. School liturgies are planned by teachers and students and all students attend mass on the First Friday of each month as well as on holy days.  Our school choir leads us in liturgical music at these liturgies which are frequently attended by family members and parishioners who appreciate joining the school community in praising God.

Each month a full-day retreat is provided for one grade level. This gives students an opportunity to grow in their relationship with each other and with God. This year retreats are focusing on the virtues.

Students are prepared for First Penance and First Holy Communion as well as for the Sacrament of Confirmation. During Advent and Lent students in Grades 3-8 are given the opportunity to participate on the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

The symbols and customs of the liturgical year are evident throughout our school. It is a privilege and an opportunity to celebrate the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter in our school.
