Volunteer Obligation - New program being implemented for 2006-2007 school year
- Your volunteer obligation is separate from your Grocery Gift Card obligation
- Requirement to volunteer 30 hours from June 30, 2006 - June 30, 2007
- For example: Each hour worked will be worth $10. The total monetary obligation for volunteer time for each family is therefore $300. We would like to encourage parents to give their 30 hours of time.
- The volunteer you do will be done by the honor system - quarterly you will be asked to fill out a form for the volunteer work you have done for that period. It will then be given to a volunteer coordinator who will track and verify the hours. We are asking that you track all hours annually, so we can get a true idea of how many hours it takes to run an event or day to day activities.
- The balance of the volunteer hours will be billed to you.
- Volunteer hours in excess of 30 are greatly appreciated, but will not carry over to the next year.
- Or if you don't want to volunteer , the family has the option to pay $300.
