Located in the heart of historic Fairfield Center, St. Thomas was established in 1921 to educate young minds with lessons founded in the teachings of the Gospels. Over the past 80 years St. Thomas has grown in enrollment and physical size, while maintaining the characteristics and warmth of a small school.
Through the support of the St. Thomas Parish, the school has benefited from a new, state-of-the-art Parish Center that is home to several classrooms, a new gym/auditorium, as well as a music room and several meeting rooms.
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the state of Connecticut and the Diocese of Bridgeport accredit St. Thomas Aquinas School. St. Thomas has an open admission policy. Admission is based on a personal interview, placement test, and previous school records when applicable.
